Garage Doors

Up and Over Doors

Up and over garage doors fall into two main categories for the types of operating mechanism – canopy or retractable. This is how the garage door panel opens and closes and both mechanisms have their uses in different applications.

Always remember that an up and over garage door requires a fixing sub frame – either in timber or steel – it will not fit directly to any garage structure without the sub frame! This needs to be fitted inbetween or behind the structural opening.

Insulated Roller

Insulated roller doors feature sound and thermal insulation with Interlocking twin walled aluminium sections containing a CFC-free insulating foam meaning your garage can be used as an extra room.

Aluminium laths are the ideal solution – corrosion resistant, light yet strong. The range of solid, metallic and woodgrain finishes allow a choice sympathetic to your home – Guaranteed exterior finish for 10 years. Vision slats – Polycarbonate clear glazing is available for insulated alarmed doors, on a proportion of the door curtain, to allow natural light into the garage. It out-performs the ordinary garage door for ease of use, insulation, finishes, safety and security and all doors are manufactured under ISO 9001 quality guidelines. All insulated doors come complete with remote control operation for extra convenience, security and safety. Foam filled aluminium laths help insulate against heat loss and noise, ideal if your garage is under a bedroom or you use your garage space as a workroom.

Fits garage openings of all shapes and sizes on single and double garages. Security as standard with positive locking, no external lock to pick or force . The compact coiling of the door as it opens requires minimal space inside the garage, making the most of overhead storage areas. Vertical travel allows "park right up" convenience inside and out and provides maximum drive through width and height for MPV’s and 4×4’s.

The doors come in 2 sizes. The standard door requires a space of 300mm x 300mm and the compact version of the insulated roller door requires 205mm x 205mm of headroom.

The insulated roller also comes in a manual operation version.

Sectional Garage Doors

Sectional garage doors are fast becoming one of the most popular and practical choices for a safe, very secure and easy to use versatile garage door system. They are called sectional garage doors because they open and close in separated individual panel sections, operating vertically without any swing out from the structural opening and tracking mechanism at all. Because of this operation almost any shape of garage opening can be installed to, i.e. arched, angled corners, etc.

Sectional doors come in a selection of insulation thicknesses from single skin to 42mm.
